David McKnight has acted in many blockbuster movies including:

David McKnight is a talented, seasoned Veteran Actor born In Shelby Mississippi and began his love for Acting at his Beloved Wendell PHillips High School in Chicago IL (Now In It’s Hall Of Fame).
David worked and studied in Chicago with Harold Okoro Johnson & Abena Joan Brown, (His Mentors).
He also performed at The Afro Arts Theatre, Theatre On The Lake, The Goodman Theatre, produced many Radio Commercials, Poetry Albums with George Stanford Brown, Industrial Films & The Famed “Bird Of The Iron Feather” TV Show on WTTW PBS & The Kuumba Players Workshop with The Famed Ms. Val Grey Ward.
David McKnight is now A Life Time Member of The “Actors Studio”.
Has Also Studied with Lee Strasberg, Los Angeles City College, Lawrence Merrick Studios, Inner City Cultural Center, Ebony Showcase Theatre. Zodiac Theatre, Mark Taper Forum ITP Company and many others.
He Was Nominated For An NAACP Theatre Award & Drama Logue Award For “Soljers” at The West End Playhouse, Directed By Stu Berg & Recently Won NAACP “Best Ensemble Play For August Wilson’s “Jitney”.
David McKnight has performed at The South Coast Rep. Theatre In Costa Mesa. & The Pasadena Playhouse.
He has appeared In Over 75 Stage Plays and recently completed “DESIRE UNDER THE ELMS” with Charlie Robinson (Night Court ) at The Odyssey Theatre. Directed by Jeffery Hayden.
David also worked 8 years as Acting Consultant At University of Southern California (U.S.C). with Professor Oscar Williams while Conducting A Training Program For Graduates.
He worked and trained for 8 Years at The American Film Institute In The Screen Play Writers Readers Repertory with Carl Franklin & Willard Rogers. Subsequently David has gone on to develop a successful Film & Television Career in Hollywood. In his early years, he helped create, organize, and implement the Conservatory Of The Screen Actors Guild,

David Has Recently Co-Stared In “Boston Legal” with William Shatner.
David McKnight Happens To Be The 1st African American Actor To Appear On The “DYNASTY” TV Series and was awarded by The Los Angeles Sentinel News.
He was recently cast as Arch Bishop Desmond Tu Tu In The New Hit Motion Picture Comedy “SUPERHERO MOVIE” starring Leslie Nielson and Pamela Anderson.
Recently, he portrayed Miles Davis In Palm Springs with Trina Park’s Palm Springs Historical Dance Company.
David recently completed a run of August Wilson’s “JITNEY” at So. Coast Rep. Theatre Co. in Costa Mesa & The Pasadena Playhouse with rave reviews! This was voted # 6 Out Of 10 Best Plays in the U.S. by L.A. Times Theatre Critic: Charles McNulty.
