Famous African-American actor john Amos who is nicknamed Kunta Kinte for his role in roots, traveled with his family to Liberia to celebrate Liberia’s bicentennial where he was crowned paramount chief of Liberia during his 82nd birthday bash. Mr.Amos celebrated the recognition in a ceremony with Ghanaian -American celebrity comedian/TV personality.
“I don’t know if I can accurately describe what it means to come home after being deprived of your story, after being deprived of everything that you love and you know and you’ve been told all your life that you have no country, you have no roots,” he told FrontpageAfrica.
